PALO ALTO, Calif., May 30, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE:A) has named Robert J.
"Bob" Nikl as chief financial officer (CFO) of its semiconductor test
subsidiary, Verigy Ltd. Verigy designs, develops, manufactures and
sells advanced test systems and solutions for the semiconductor
industry.
Nikl, who will start with Verigy on June 20, was most recently
senior vice president and chief financial officer of Asyst
Technologies, Inc., a supplier of integrated hardware and software
automation systems for the semiconductor and flat-panel-display
manufacturing industries. Prior to his work at Asyst, Nikl was vice
president, Finance, and CFO, Global Operations, at Solectron, a global
contract manufacturer. Nikl also served as vice president, Finance,
for Xerox Engineering Systems. He began his career with KPMG Peat
Marwick. Nikl, 51, holds a bachelor's degree in public accounting from
Pace University and an MBA from the University of Connecticut. He is a
certified public accountant in New York and California.
Until Nikl's appointment, the CFO role at Verigy was filled by
Adrian Dillon, Agilent's chief financial officer and executive vice
president of finance and administration.
